This module introduces SharePoint 2013 concepts to site collection and site administrators. Once administrators can explain basic terminology and how to navigate around SharePoint, they have a solid foundation for the rest of the course.

Module 2: Planning a Company Portal Using SharePoint 2013
Governance in SharePoint plays a critical role in determining the potential success of a SharePoint deployment. When a greater emphasis is placed on governance, it gives organizations a better chance to succeed in the deployment and maintenance of SharePoint. Each organization must ensure that the proper policies and procedures are in place to keep SharePoint aligned with the overall business goals, even as business needs change.
