Bucharest, 10 March 2020 – Following the increased need for the employees of Romanian companies to work from home in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak, Bittnet Group (BNET) together with its partners will offer free technology solutions to local entrepreneurial companies in order to ensure business continuity. As companies strive to ensure employee safety, the easiest preventive measure is to limit the number of face-to-face interactions, as well as to eliminate staff exposure to crowded areas.

In this regard, large companies have already advised their employees to work from home to avoid unwarranted exposure, and to conduct all meetings with the help of technological solutions for virtual meetings. For Romanian entrepreneurial companies that do not currently have such solutions, Bittnet, in partnership with Microsoft and Cisco, will offer free technology solutions that will allow employees to work from home without causing significant disruptions in daily operations. The following solutions will be offered free of charge, over a 6-months trial basis:

· Microsoft Office 365 E1 Trial Corporate or Enterprise segment, which includes Microsoft Teams, with a limit up to 2,500 seats. For other segments, clients will be able to start a free trail of Microsoft Teams.

· Cisco Webex for companies and individuals, including free HD video conferencing up to 50 participants and unlimited number of meetings, 1GB cloud space.

The engineers from Dendrio Solutions, a company that is part of Bittnet Group, will take care of responding to the requests as well as ensuring the implementation of the free solutions while trainers from Bittnet Training will provide, free of charge, IT trainings on usage of virtual collaboration tools provided by Microsoft and Cisco. The list of services to be provided free of charge by Bittnet Group includes:

· For Microsoft solution, Corporate or Enterprise segment: setting up Office 365 (guest functionality), preparing the platform for communication throughout the organization (internal and external), 2 technical assistance requests (by phone or web) for a period of 6 months after installation, virtual training with a Bittnet trainer; or activating Microsoft Teams trial service for other customer segments.

· For Cisco solution: organization setup, user provisioning, “how to use” video materials, virtual training with a Bittnet trainer (webex mini-demo live).

Any Romanian entrepreneurial company, regardless of its turnover or number of employees, can benefit from these services by filling-in a request form on the following website: The requests will be handled on the first come, first serve basis. The services of Bittnet Group employees will be provided starting from March 10th, for the period of two weeks, which can be extended depending on how the COVID-19 situation develops in Romania. The employees of Dendrio and Bittnet Training will handle the requests alongside their day-to-day responsibilities.
