At the same time non-virtual solutions are loosing ground, currently the volume going down to 38% compared to virtualization solutions (34%) and private cloud (27%), the forcast for the next 2 years being an increase in virtual and Private Cloud solutios with 2-3% and a decrease in on-premises solutions.
The number of dedicated servers is in decline (35-33%) the trend being that they are replaced with Private Cloud solutions (17-18%) and Hosted Private Cloud (25-29%) in the next 2 years while the distribution of IT&C services show 31% for Hosting Infrastructure and 21% App Hosting compared with just 21% Managed Services and 27% Security Services.

The final decision of companies to migrate to public cloud solutions is justified by the need of security, lowering costs and predictability, higher level of control over IT equipment, guaranteed performance and scalability, customer services and centralized administration of services.
