Microsoft 20411 – Administering Windows Server 2012

This course is the second part of a 3 course series that provides the knowledge and skills to implement a core Windows Server 2012 infrastructure. Over these courses there is some cross-over skills but this course focuses on administrative skills required to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure like troubleshooting and configuring name resolution, user and group management, implementing Network Policies and Network Access Protection, implementing Remote Access solutions such as DirectAccess, VPNs and Web Application Proxy, Data Security, update management and monitoring for Windows Server 2012 and deployment and maintenance of server images.

This course is addressed to IT professionals who have hands-on experience working with Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 and desire to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to manage and maintain the core infrastructure required for Microsoft Server 2012 and Microsoft Server 2012 R2. Students taking this course will acquire skills in: User and Group management, Network Access and Data Security.
