In this course you will learn how to deploy and manage a Microsoft Server Virtualization infrastructure in an enterprise environment. You will also learn how to configure, manage and maintain Windows Server 2012 R2 Hyper-V and System Center 2012 R2 Virtual Machine Manager including networking and storage services.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites
Students need to have:

  • IT professionals who support medium to large enterprises and have experience administering Windows Server 2012
  • Familiarity with virtualization concepts and management tools is highly recommended, though experience with virtualization is not expected
  • Ability to perform server administrator tasks to build and maintain a virtualization infrastructure
  • Must have an understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts and different storage technologies and concepts
